We designated Friday, September 26th as the day that our first drafts are due to each other for the BinaB (business in a box).  Erin is writing the curriculum section, Ann's on the teacher training section and I'm writing the business and marketing section.  This has been a labor of love, but make no mistake, it's been labor.   At times it's felt like labor - long, hard and arduous.  We plan the delivery of our "baby" for January 1st.  We are meeting with the attorneys Friday as well.  We're really making some serious progress on this!!  It's so exciting.  We can see the light at the end of the tunnel.  We keep telling each other to "go toward the light!"  I imagine we'll take next week to review each other's sections and make comments.  We'll re-work that which needs it (I'm imagining that mine will need the most extensive work!) and then we'll start working on the packaging (so to speak).  It will all be available for download.  That's so cool.  I envision a woman either just wanting to start something of her own that would include kids - or a woman who is fed up with her current position - finding us online and saying "Wow!  This is exactly what I'm looking for.  I can work my own hours around my family's schedule, I can make money doing it, I'll better the very world that we live in by helping girls to enhance their self-esteem and I'll have a ton of support behind me.  SIGN ME UP!"  And she'll be able to download the program right then and there and get started immediately.  We're working on some exciting , fun, inventive online contests, too.  Be thinking about why you would make a great Healthy Girls authorized representative and what you could bring to your community if you were to receive a free DBA business in a box.  I'll be blogging more in the future about the contest, etc.  Keep checking back - things are popping around here!  Hope you're getting excited with us.  Stay tuned . . .
